Peanut Butter Blossoms are probably my new favorite cookie.. yes maybe even more than chocolate chip! I've had such a hard time finding a good chocolate chip recipe that works every time because we live at such a high altitude. I always end up with flat pancake chocolate chip cookies! But these peanut butter blossom cookies have turned out perfect every time I've made them, making them one of my new go-to cookie recipes. </div>

Hey there! I can't believe that January is almost over already! I feel like it was just barely Christmas like last week!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I am beyond thrilled to be a part of the 2017 Project Life Creative Team, and one of my goals this year is to share with you all how I use the Project Life App to record our memories. The Project Life App is seriously such an amazing tool! I love scrap-booking, but I find the task of printing pictures, gluing, etc. to be kind of daunting and not to mention time consuming! But the app is such an awesome alternative, I'm able to put together layouts in minutes and save them conveniently on my phone throughout the year. I just finished up our pages from 2016 and I am so excited to get them printed in a photo book!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
You can print your pages right from the app, and slip them into your Project Life scrapbook! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
To purchase Project Life products just <a href="http://www.shopbeckyhiggins.com/?rfsn=426275.32dba" target="_blank">CLICK HERE</a> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
They have loads of cute albums, page protectors, and other items for those of you not using the app as well. I highly recommend checking it out!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The Project Life App is available for both Apple and Android devices.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Alright, so below are my pages I created in the app for the first two weeks of 2017. I'll include what kits and supplies I used under each image.</div>

This year I am super excited to be taking part in the Goodreads 2017 Reading Challenge! For all of you avid readers out there you should check out the Goodreads app if you haven't already. It's available in the app store. It is a super great way to keep track of all the books you have read, are currently reading, and want to read in the future. Plus there is a fun social media side to it where you can see what all of your friends are reading as well! I love it!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I chose to read 24 books in 2017 as my challenge. Now I know some of you are probably thinking that is not very many, and some are probably thinking that its a ton! Most people I've seen choose 52 books in a year (1 book a week). I figured I would start a little smaller since we are expecting a baby this year and I don't know how much free time I'm going to have for reading. If I end up reading 24 books by July then next year I'll shoot for 52 books!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Alright, I'm going to share a list of a few books I have in mind to read this year..</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So far I've already read Cinder by Marissa Meyer, and I'm currently reading Scarlet by Marissa Meyer, as well as The Fruitful Wife by Hayley DiMarco.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimQPwaBg3-3qWWb7obljlaNaaCXx6yTifVGFgWP_nTP7LoVhEk7xaaCcq837I9M5q3G7AxsodumI_Nckx-CMhgRfEn53OWCC0DMU_PR1Jb_ldb1c7g8EJZciqehRmaRDSnqq0f8kio3FY/s1600/image1.PNG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="619" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimQPwaBg3-3qWWb7obljlaNaaCXx6yTifVGFgWP_nTP7LoVhEk7xaaCcq837I9M5q3G7AxsodumI_Nckx-CMhgRfEn53OWCC0DMU_PR1Jb_ldb1c7g8EJZciqehRmaRDSnqq0f8kio3FY/s640/image1.PNG" width="640" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
A list of books I'm interested in reading this year.. (this will probably change A LOT)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<ul>
<li>Cress by Marissa Meyer</li>
<li>Winter by Marissa Meyer</li>
<li>Fairest by Marissa Meyer</li>
<li>Stars Above by Marissa Meyer</li>
<li>Talking as Fast as I Can: From Gilmore Girls to Gilmore Girls, and Everything in Between by Lauren Graham</li>
<li>The Choice by Nicholas Sparks</li>
<li>Me Before You by Jojo Moyes</li>
<li>After You by Jojo Moyes</li>
<li>The Siren by Kiera Cass</li>
<li>Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard</li>
<li>Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard</li>
<li>King's Cage by Victoria Aveyard</li>
</ul>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This list is bound to change throughout the year, these are just a few of the books I have in mind. I'm super excited to read a ton this year! Now that I'm graduated from college I feel like I need to always be reading a book so my brain doesn't melt...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Plus come April I'll be a stay at home mom with hopefully some more spare time on my hands for reading, and changing diapers of course!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I hope this inspires you all to pick up a book or two this month or even this year! I'll keep you updated on what I'm reading as the year progresses as well.</div>

<br />
Hey everyone! I am super excited to finally get to share this awesomeness with you! I've been chosen to be a part of the <a href="http://www.shopbeckyhiggins.com/?rfsn=426275.32dba" target="_blank">Project Life</a> <a href="http://beckyhiggins.com/meet-the-creative-team/" target="_blank">2017 Creative Team</a>! I have been using Project Life to document our adventures for a little over a year now, and I absolutely love it! I strictly use the Project Life app (available in the app store) to document because it is so simple and easy to use. I love being able to create pages on my phone literally anywhere! From road trips, to standing in line at the grocery store, you name it! And you can print pages right from the app as well, which is super nice!<br />
<br />
I'm so excited to get to be a part of the Creative Team, I will be sharing plenty of Project Life tips and pages on the blog throughout the year and you might even see a few show up on <a href="http://beckyhiggins.com/blog/" target="_blank">Becky's blog</a> as well! So keep your eye out!<br />
<br />
Head over to the Creative Team page and check out my bio <a href="http://beckyhiggins.com/creativeteam/lindsay-tanner/" target="_blank">here</a>Lindzy Bakeshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14970950435435288990noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3499055015248137445.post-6656155392640033982016-12-13T11:36:00.001-08:002016-12-13T11:36:14.564-08:00Sloth - Lithograph<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

This was my first time ever trying out lithography! It was a project I did in school last semester, and I love how it turned out. Each print is about 9" x 12" and some of them have colored paper, maps, or book pages layered underneath the image of the sloths body.</div>
